Kybella
KYBELLA® is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells in the treatment area under the chin to improve your profile. The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal. Did you catch that...these results are permanent! When you come in for your treatment, Holly will administer multiple small injections under your chin. This process takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Since everyone’s chin profile is different, the number of treatments varies by client. Holly will determine how many treatment sessions you need based on the amount and distribution of your submental fat and your personal treatment goals, 1-3 treatments is average. After KYBELLA® treatment, you will likely have moderate to severe swelling, bruising, or numbness under your chin, that will likely subside within 2 weeks.
Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) Undereye Rejuvenation
PRF is very similar to platelet rich plasma (PRP) in that it is derived from your own sample of blood. We spin the blood sample at a slower speed to retain the white blood cells (WBCs). The WBCs play a major role in release of growth factors, which help obtain results of collagen and elastin formation as well as fat cell plumping when injected back into areas of concern. Once injected, a small fibrin clot, that helps to create a smooth appearance, will last for approximately 7-10 days. The slow release of growth factors from this fibrin clot allows the body to better take advantage of the growth factors. This is why we see amazing results. We can also utilize the PRF in conjunction with dermal fillers for certain areas and needs. The procedure will take approximately 30 minutes and downtime is minimal. Multiple sessions are recommended.
